Roles Open for Volunteers
All sessions can be scheduled based on your availability within our opening hours (9:30 am – 5:30 pm), unless stated otherwise.
Sewing Volunteer
Min. Commitment: 3 months
You'll help beginners and intermediate learners gain the skills to grow and become self-sufficient. Minimum commitment of three months, starting immediately!
Baking Volunteer
Min. Commitment: 3 months
Teach Afghan refugee women baking. Flexible hours within our 9:30 am - 5:30 pm opening times.
Jam-Making Volunteer
Min. Commitment: 3 months
We’re looking for a volunteer experienced in jam-making, with knowledge of different techniques and recipes. You'll teach Afghan refugee women, even those with no prior experience.
Upcycled Craft Volunteer
Min. Commitment: 3 months
We need a creative volunteer to teach Afghan refugee women how to turn everyday items into valuable upcycled crafts. You'll guide beginners with hands-on approaches, working with the Greater Action team to align training with our goals. You'll also develop lesson plans and activities that inspire creativity and promote sustainable crafting.
Fashion Design Volunteer
Min. Commitment: 3 months
We’re looking for a volunteer with experience in fashion design, including skills in sketching, pattern making, and garment construction. You'll teach Afghan refugee women, guiding beginners and intermediate students with hands-on approaches. A passion for fashion and empowering others through skill-sharing is essential.
Sales & PR Helper
Min. Commitment: 6 months
We need an engaged and enthusiastic woman who loves to socialise with new people and can help us expand our existing network of companies, schools and end users. You will be working hand in hand with our marketing head. This volunteering role is essential to help us increase our visibility and get a larger customer database.
LinkedIn Outreach
Min. Commitment: 6 months
We’re seeking a volunteer experienced in LinkedIn management, including content creation, networking, and engagement. You'll leverage your corporate network to build CSR partnerships and new opportunities, connecting with companies and potential partners. This role is remote with flexible hours.
Art Curator Volunteer
Min. Commitment: October - End of February
We’re seeking a volunteer with art curating experience, including exhibition planning, organizing, and presentation. You’ll assist with exhibition design, setup for the February 21-28 show, and write curatorial texts. This remote role runs from October to February, with communication and social media collaboration.
Photography Volunteer
Min. Commitment: 6 months
We’re looking for a skilled photographer to capture high-quality images of events, products, and shows. You’ll work flexibly, attending scheduled events as needed, and help organize a photo library for future use. You'll also edit images for marketing, social media, and promotions.
Retail Volunteer
Min. Commitment: 3 months
We’re seeking a creative volunteer to design and decorate boutique spaces and event booths. Experience in retail or visual merchandising is a plus, along with a strong sense of aesthetics. You’ll work flexibly, managing your own time, while collaborating with the marketing team to maintain consistent visual branding.
Sustainability Volunteer
Min. Commitment: 3 months
We’re looking for a volunteer with experience in sustainability, composting, and zero-waste practices, especially in food-related projects. You'll teach and guide our Afghan team in green practices, using your communication and problem-solving skills in a multicultural setting.
