Education
Greater Action is dedicated to providing quality education opportunities for refugee children, with a special focus on girls who face greater disadvantages.
Our mission is to ensure that every refugee child, aged 5 to 18, has access to quality education. Through our partnerships with three local refugee learning centers in the Ampang area, we offer a strong educational foundation and IGCSE preparation, nurturing a lifelong passion for learning.

Empowerment for Independence:
It provides the skills and knowledge refugees need to lead independent, fulfilling lives.
ENGLISH/BAHASA CLASSES ACADEMY
We teach English and Bahasa Malaysia to refugee women, giving them the skills to communicate, integrate, and sustain themselves through work, education, or entrepreneurhip, locally and globally. This helps them build independent, secure futures for themselves and their families.
English Class
Greater Action Academy works with young adult refugee women. We have put together a four-tier conversational English course specifically designed for the community’s needs and tailored to be delivered online. Since the academy’s inception, over 200 students have benefitted from our course. We have 15 volunteer teachers who teach online. We have students from different refugee communities like Afghanistan, Somalia, Pakistan, etc.
Learning Bahasa
We also offer programs for adult refugee women to learn Bahasa so they can integrate in their new home and acquire the necessary skills to pave their way for a sustainable livelihood.
