Maternity&Baby Needs

Some refugee women had no choice but to flee their country while pregnant. Some gave birth a few months after arrival in Malaysia. When you are expecting your first baby and experiencing such tragic moments away from your own family, it can be very distressing and depressing. One feels lonely and helpless in a country where access to specialist healthcare is not affordable for most of the refugees.

We try to fundraise ad hoc when a family needs financial support to cover baby delivery charges (3-7k). We commit to giving mothers breastfeeding advice thanks to our expert Ms Serene, who also does home visits when possible.

We also conduct donation drives for baby materials, including reusable fabric diapers, baby material, baby clothes, and milk formula.
