Material&Food Donations

Refugees flee their countries by force due to war, violence or persecution. They arrive in Malaysia with empty hands. It is therefore essential to  provide them with basics to ensure that they live decently. 

We collect everything from clothes, working toys, English books, kitchen utensils, electrical appliances, furniture , mattresses and even baby material! Anything in good condition and previously washed is welcome. We have trained a team of refugee women in charge of sorting out and distributing items to the most needy families from the community. It gives them a sense of self-worth and makes them feel useful.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we distributed more than 800 food baskets and baby milk formula to the most vulnerable refugee families from all refugee communities. We continue to do so throughout the year as new families are flocking in daily from Afghanistan and need first assistance.
